Does it touch my data, orders or account?

No. ChartBackgrounds only changes how the chart background looks on your own computer. It never reads your symbols, positions or account details, never places orders, and makes no network calls.

Does it change my TradingView settings or layouts?

Never. Nothing is saved to your TradingView account, so your phone and other devices keep their normal colors. Turn the skin off and your chart is exactly as it was.

Will my chart still be readable?

Yes. Skins sit behind the candles. Raise Focus to dim and soften a busy skin, and Alt+Shift+K turns it off instantly.

How do Sessions work?

Pick one skin for Asia, one for London and one for New York. The extension uses the real session hours (in your own time zone, with daylight saving handled) and switches the background when a session starts.

How does Shuffle work?

Heart the skins you like, turn on Shuffle and choose 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Your favorites rotate with a slow fade. If Sessions is also on, Sessions wins.

Are there cases, spins or rarities?

No. Skins are sorted by mood, not by luck. Free gets one from every mood and Pro gets all of them, plus every new one.

Where does it work?

TradingView in Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc and Opera, on Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS. Some prop firms have rules about extensions on evaluation accounts, so check yours first.

Do I need to change any settings?

No. Add the extension and open a chart. If a skin ever doesn't show, open the extension, go to Fix it and press Run Fix it.

Will it slow TradingView down?

Speed adjusts itself to your computer, Battery saver lowers it on a laptop that is unplugged, and skins pause in background tabs. If Fix it says graphics acceleration is off, turn it on in your browser's settings.

Can I use my own video or image?

Yes, on the free plan too. Open the extension, go to My media and drop in an MP4, WebM, GIF, PNG or JPG up to 60 MB. It goes behind your candles instantly and never leaves your computer.

What is the Community plan?

For Discord owners, trading groups and streamers. We turn your logo and colors into a live skin and give you one link that puts it on your members' charts. Email support@chartbackgrounds.com to set one up.

What's the refund policy?
